Start with the visit of the famous Chinese Fishing Nets of Cochin. The huge cantilevered Chinese fishing nets that droop towards the waters like over-sized hammocks have become a hallmark that represents Fort Kochi on every postcards,Afterwards, you will visit the Dutch Palace, which is also known as the Mattancherry Palace, and is home to Keralan murals, Hindu temple art, and exhibits of the Rajas of Cochin. This pretty landmark is built in a quadrangle, with a courtyard in the middle featuring a small temple dedicated to the protective gods of the Cochin royal family.
After you have explored this simple oasis, you will drive to Fort Cochin, to view the churches, and old-fashioned Tudor-style homes that were constructed by the English merchants who once lived here. Here, you will view St. Francis Church, a pretty white-washed religious center, which was built by Franciscan friars in 1503, we will have a harbour cruise then, you will enjoy a cooling drink/High teas after the cruise

You will begin cruising the waters from Alleppey, the so-called Venice of the East. Along the way, you will pass coconut-frond thatched huts, colonial warehouses and tiny villages, where you will observe the locals going about their daily lives. It will be an enlightening glimpse into a world that most visitors to Cochin never see.

University and High Court.

Elephanta Caves with Airport Drop on 19th Feb 2025
Once known as Gharapuri, or the Fortress City, the Portuguese renamed the island Elephanta after discovering a large stone elephant statue near the shore. At the entrance to the caves is the famous Trimurti, or the celebrated trinity of Elephanta: Lord Brahma, the Creator; Lord Vishnu, the preserver; and Lord Shiva, the Destroyer. Unfortunately, many of the sculptures inside were damaged by the Portuguese who took potshots at the Hindu Gods with their rifles, but the sublime beauty of the caves remains. The site resonates with the spiritual energy of India, and was designated a World Heritage Site in 1987.
Reaching the base of Elephanta Hill by motor launch, you’ll climb a stepped path to reach the exceptional 7th-century rock-cut temples of Elephanta Caves. This splendid cave complex is a collection of shrines, courtyards, grand halls and porticos filled with exquisite stone sculptures and reliefs of Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
Please note: This tour entails a short walk up numerous steps. A limited number of palanquins or sedan chairs are available at Elephanta Island, Rubber-soled shoes are recommended.
